Natasha "Beautiful Thought" is also the producer of the longest running Christian music & poetry series called, The Peaceful Poetic Place. "Beautiful Thought" is the winner of the 2011 National Poetry Award (NPA) - Christian Poet & Spoken Word Artist of the Year and was a nominee in 2013. She won the NPA for Host of the Year, 2016. She has performed with international jazz artists such as, Randy Scott, Lin Rountree, and Yancyy. Additionally, she has opened for gospel rap artists, Da Truth and Andy Mineo and was an opening artist for P4CM poets Ezekiel, Preston Perry, Jackie Hill-Perry & Janette-Ikz at the PIA Tour stop in Detroit, 2015. In 2019, she opened for Stellar-award winning gospel artist, Casey J, on a western Caribbean cruise.
You may have caught her on tv in the Henry Ford Health Care media campaign, or in 2018, the IMPACT Network Christmas Special. She is mother to a creative and talented young man who is a professional singer and actor. In February 2016 (re-released 2024), "Beautiful Thought" released her freshman cd, titled "Spoken Soul I: Perfect Imperfections".
"Beautiful Thought" is an advocate for domestic violence survivors and strongly believes in empowerment and benevolence to support the community. She holds a Masters in Human Services and a Bachelor's in Social Work/ Psychology.
